StayDirectNow

Terms of service

Last updated 14 October 2026

These terms are an agreement between StayDirectNow Technologies Private Limited ("StayDirectNow", "we", "us") and the business that uses our service for a stay property ("you", "the property"). Section 14 also sets out the terms for guests who use a property's chat.

By creating an account or using the service you accept these terms and our privacy policy. If you accept them for a business, you confirm you are authorised to bind it.

1. The service

StayDirectNow helps a stay property get found and receive enquiries. It includes a public property page with structured data for search engines, a chat on that page that answers guests from the answers you publish, alerts to you when a guest enquires, and help with your Google Business Profile.

It is a discovery and enquiry tool. In particular:

  • We are not a booking engine or a travel agent. An enquiry is a guest asking; it is not a booking. You decide whether and how to accept it.
  • We do not hold your calendar. The chat never tells a guest that a date is free; availability questions always come to you.
  • We never take payment from guests — no deposits, advances or fees — and we are not party to any agreement between you and a guest.
  • We do not remove you from other booking platforms or take a share of your bookings.

Some features may be marked “coming soon” and are not part of the service until we switch them on.

2. Eligibility and accounts

  • You must be a business or individual operating a stay property in India, at least 18 years old, and able to enter a binding contract.
  • Accounts are opened with us directly. Keep your login details confidential; you are responsible for everything done through your account, including by staff you give access to.
  • Tell us at once at security@staydirectnow.com if you suspect someone else has used your account.

3. Your content and your responsibilities

You are responsible for everything you publish through the service — your property's details, description, answers to guest questions, photos and host information. You confirm that:

  • it is accurate and kept up to date. The chat repeats your answers to guests exactly, so a wrong answer reaches every guest who asks;
  • you own it or have the right to publish it;
  • it contains no photos or personal details of guests and nothing unlawful, misleading, defamatory or infringing;
  • you will honour the prices, rules and facts you publish, since guests rely on them.

You remain responsible for running your property lawfully, including any local registration, licences, taxes and guest-registration duties (such as Form C for foreign nationals). The service does not do these for you.

You give us a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, display, format and mark up your content as part of the service, including in structured data read by search engines and AI assistants, for as long as it stays published. You keep ownership of your content.

4. Guests' personal data

For guests who enquire with you, you are the Data Fiduciary under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, and we are your Data Processor. We process guest data only to deliver the service and on your instructions, as described in our privacy policy and in the data processing agreement between us. You agree to:

  • use guest details only to respond to the guest's enquiry;
  • not send guests marketing or unsolicited messages using details received through the service;
  • handle any request from a guest about their data promptly, with our help where it concerns data we hold.

5. Messages we send

  • We send you alerts about new enquiries by the channels you choose — email and text message today. You can switch each off, or remove the number or address, at any time.
  • Unless you switch it off, we send each guest who enquires one text message, in your property's name, confirming you received the enquiry. We send guests nothing else.
  • Text messages go out under our registered sender name and templates, as India's telecom rules (TRAI's DLT framework) require. Wording cannot be changed on request.
  • We send a message once it is accepted by the network; we cannot guarantee delivery. Enquiries are always on your dashboard whether or not an alert arrives.

6. Acceptable use

You must not use the service to:

  • break any law, or help anyone else do so;
  • send spam, or collect guests' details for any other purpose;
  • ask only satisfied guests for reviews, or offer anything in return for reviews — this breaks Google's rules and harms every property on the platform;
  • probe, overload or disrupt the service, get around its limits, or access anyone else's data.

7. Fees and taxes

  • Each property is free for its first 2 months, counted from the day it is added to your account. After that the fee is ₹1,999 a month for each property, unless we agree otherwise with you in writing.
  • We do not take payment through the service and never charge you automatically. Before a property's free months end we contact you to arrange payment.
  • When a property's free or paid period ends without being renewed, its page, chat and enquiry alerts switch off automatically at the end of that day (India time). Your account and content are kept, subject to our privacy policy, and everything returns as it was when the period is renewed. We remind you by email before this happens.
  • Fees exclude GST, which is added at the applicable rate. We issue GST-compliant invoices.
  • If an invoice stays unpaid 15 days after its due date, we may pause the service after telling you. Fees already paid are not refunded for a partial period unless we agree otherwise or the law requires.
  • We will give you at least 30 days' notice of any change to your fees.

8. Our service and our rights

The software, design, templates and everything else we provide, other than your content, belong to us or our licensors. You may use them only as part of the service.

We keep improving the service and may change features. We will not remove a core feature you pay for without reasonable notice. We aim to keep the service available at all times but do not promise uninterrupted operation; maintenance and events outside our control can cause downtime.

9. Suspension and termination

  • You may close your account at any time, from Settings or by writing to us. Closing from Settings takes your property offline at once and deletes the account 7 days later; until then you can keep it. Fees for the current billing period remain payable.
  • We may take a property page offline, pause alerts, or suspend an account, immediately where needed, if these terms are broken, if content is unlawful or harmful, if the account is used to misuse the service, or if the law requires it. Where we can, we will tell you first and give you a chance to fix the problem.
  • When an account closes, your property page is taken offline and we delete your data as described in the privacy policy. On request before closure, we will give you a copy of your guest enquiries.

10. No guaranteed results

We work to improve how your property appears on Google, on maps and in AI assistants, but those services decide their own rankings and change them without notice. We do not guarantee any ranking, visibility, number of enquiries or bookings. Except as these terms expressly say, the service is provided “as is”, to the extent Indian law allows.

11. Liability

  • Our total liability to you for all claims arising from the service in any 12 months is limited to the fees you paid us in those 12 months.
  • We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, such as lost bookings, lost profit or loss of reputation, or for anything between you and a guest.
  • Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under Indian law, including for fraud.
  • You will compensate us for losses caused by your content or by your breaking these terms or the law.

12. Confidentiality

Each of us will keep confidential the other's non-public business information shared through the service, and use it only for the service. This does not cover information that is already public or that the law requires to be disclosed.

13. Law, disputes and grievances

  • These terms are governed by the laws of India.
  • We will first try to resolve any dispute by talking to you. If that fails, the courts at Delhi will have exclusive jurisdiction.
  • Complaints about the service or any content on it can be sent to our Grievance Officer, Chirag Chhillar, at grievance@staydirectnow.com. We will acknowledge a complaint and resolve it within the time Indian law requires.

14. For guests using a property's chat

If you enquire with a property through its page or chat:

  • You are asking the property, not booking. The property alone decides whether it can host you, and confirms dates, prices and rules directly with you.
  • The chat answers only from information the property has published. It never confirms that a date is available. Check anything important with the property before you travel.
  • StayDirectNow never asks you for payment. If anyone asks you to pay through StayDirectNow, do not pay, and tell us at contact@staydirectnow.com.
  • Give only your own name and a number you are entitled to use; the property and one confirmation text will contact that number.
  • How we handle your details is set out in our privacy policy.

15. Changes and contact

We may update these terms. We will email property owners at least 30 days before a change that affects them takes effect; continuing to use the service after that means you accept the change.

If any part of these terms is found unenforceable, the rest stays in force.
